Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town in County Kildare. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was a veterinarian for horses who took his own life at the age of three. Bea was three years old though she did not know what happened to him until she turned 13. In 2017 she composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family and took on the stage name Bea in tribute. Bea's mom Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was responsible for taking care of her as well as Sinead. Their family was in love with racing meetings and horses. Bea began her career as an official guide for tourists at the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her true passion was performing and not racing.
